Chapter 7 - Glossary
The Glossary section of the Forest Plan contains definitions that apply to Forest Service land management and planning on the Tongass. Altogether, the Glossary defines over 600 words, terms, and acronyms. These definitions are not legal definitions (unless noted as such) and sometimes will differ when used in another context. Some definitions were shortened, paraphrased, or otherwise adapted to conditions in Southeast Alaska or on the Tongass National Forest.
